I believe we all have the capacity to experience health and vitality! We can learn to listen and connect with our bodies needs in order to live a vibrant and fulfilling life. I’m here to guide you on this journey, through practices in massage and movement therapy.

”It is health that is real wealth, not pieces of

gold or silver.”
- Mahatma Ghandi

Growing up on the farm shaped a lot of my values and ethics. I learned how to integrate with the natural world in a sustainable manner that inherently reflects our health and well-being!

I grew up on a 100 acre organic farm in southwestern Ontario, where we grew our own food and raised pastured meats for our community. I went on to pursue an education at the University of Guelph studying International Development, with a focus in Rural and Agricultural Development and thesis in Consumer Education and Food Security. Throughout my life I have been involved in various food education endeavours, such as Dinners with the Farmers Daughters, Farm Camps, Soup Kitchens, Farmers Markets, Community Gardens and always playing in the dirt and tending to my own garden!

Being an active, athletic child and young woman I was always interested in the body and optimizing health and well-being. So I completed my initial Massage Therapy training at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Cambridge, ON in 2014. I have had a thriving practice since then and am continuing to learn and grow in my practice as I pursue various continued education. I am particularly inspired by the osteopathic approach and listening intently to the deeper systems in the body. I have complete my Cranio-Sacral Therapy training with the Upledger Institute (CST 1, 2 and Somato-emotional release 1).

On a more personal journey in 2016 I travelled to India and completed my 200 Hr yoga teacher training which provided a deeper practice of mindfulness, movement and breathe. I continue this practice and only more recently have I been inspired to share these teachings along with other movement therapies, such as ELDOA, pilates, animal flow and primal movements.

Im currently residing in Golden, BC where I came to pursue the expansive outdoor playground that surrounds us in the Colombia Valley!

“Laura is very knowledgeable in how the body functions and what it needs to do so. It is incredibly inspiring to learn and explore my body through movement and massage.”
